Clear product terms should match the way the product actually works.
This page is a structured draft for snagging. Final business identity, cancellation/refund wording, governing law and liability terms require confirmation before launch.
Using UP FAMILY
UP FAMILY provides tools for shared family organisation. Users are responsible for the information they add and for ensuring that household access is given only to people who should be able to see that household’s information.
Accounts and households
Adults use their own accounts and may join a shared household. Child profiles do not necessarily represent independent child accounts. Users must keep their account credentials secure and should remove household access when it is no longer appropriate.
Free, Full and the trial
The current commercial direction includes a Free tier, a paid Full household subscription and a 30-day Full trial. The trial is manually activated, requires no card and is not intended to convert automatically into a paid subscription. Final feature entitlements and payment terms must match the production product before launch.
Subscriptions
The current planned Full pricing is £39.99 per year per household or £4.99 per month, with a planned Founding Family offer of £29.99 per year while continuously subscribed. Final checkout wording, renewal, cancellation and refund terms must be confirmed before these prices are published as contractual terms.
Availability and changes
UP FAMILY may evolve as the product is tested and improved. Future features should not be treated as part of the current service until they are released. Material changes affecting paid access should be communicated clearly.
Acceptable use
The service must not be used unlawfully, to access another household without permission, to interfere with the service or to upload content a user has no right to use.
Liability and governing law
These clauses must be drafted or reviewed against the final business entity, consumer-market scope and applicable law before launch.
Status: product-informed draft for website snagging. Not final legal advice or launch-ready terms.
