What UP FAMILY is designed to store

UP FAMILY is a shared family organiser. Depending on how a household uses the product, information can include account details, household membership, child profile information entered by adults, calendar events, routines, tasks, lists, shopping items and notification preferences.

Why that information is used

The product needs this information to authenticate users, keep a household’s shared information available, show the correct information to authorised household members and deliver product functions such as reminders and notifications.

What UP FAMILY is not designed to do

The current product is not designed to ingest a user’s entire email inbox, automatically generate a family schedule from private communications or continuously analyse unrelated personal information.

Service providers

UP FAMILY currently uses third-party infrastructure to operate the service, including hosting and database/authentication services. The final privacy notice will identify relevant processors once the production setup is confirmed.

Retention and deletion

The final retention periods and account-deletion process must be documented against the production database and support workflow before launch. Trial expiry itself is not intended to delete household information; the household returns to the applicable Free access state.

Cookies and analytics

The marketing-site analytics and consent setup is not yet finalised. This section must be updated before any non-essential analytics or marketing cookies are enabled.

Your rights and contact

The final notice will explain applicable privacy rights and how to contact the data controller. Those details should be reviewed against the business entity and the markets in which UP FAMILY is offered before publication.
